Erin Baker
Erin Baker graduated from Northwest High School in 1999 where she excelled at volleyball, basketball and track as well as academically. In high school, she was MVP of her volleyball team her sophomore year, earned various 1st team All District honors 1996-1999, was selected 1st Team all NE Area, 2nd Team all Tarrant County and also selected as a Texas All Star (West) in 1999. Erin attended Ole Miss (Division 1 in the SEC) on a full scholarship where she started as a freshman.
In 2002 she was an All-Tournament selection at the University of Montana Tournament, Ole Miss Magnolia Invitational and Central Florida Tournament. She was the Team Captain, and was named to the All-SEC Good Works Team 2002 and All SEC Academic Honor roll in 2002. She still holds the Ole Miss school record for most total blocks (270) in a career (rally scoring). While at Ole Miss, she also played 1 year of basketball for the Ole Miss Women’s basketball team.
Erin has coached some level of volleyball over the last 18 years- high school, middle school, recreational and club level. She has coached club for several clubs in DFW for the past 12 years. She has coached all ages…from 12U to 18U. Her favorite ages are 13U and 14U because she enjoys teaching the skills and strategies of the game and middle schoolers soak it all up!
Fun Facts: Erin is a PE teacher in Argyle ISD and has 2 daughters, Hannah and Hope.
